Nishad here...my first entry from my iPhone!!!it's marvellous...this machine...addictive too!!!;)with all the plethora of applications available...presently studying at the lounge of my engg science department...really good atmosphere in here...some hefty seniors playing mahjong at the table beside..a 25 something, white-haired nerdy japanese working hard on his laptop..atleast it seems so..cant really say though!!he's sitting right in front of me...he might be watching porn too..who knows...but I'm really curious to know n hence thinking about finding an excuse to get a sneak peek!!:P
Am seriously thinking of joining those mahjong guys man...they r looking so happy..n here I am...rackig my brains out at this circuit theory problem...life sure is unfair....(sigh)
Well..time to get back to work though:(

Yes...ppl..I`m back!..Sorry to keep u waiting!!(does anybody really even read my diary posts??..but who cares!!)

I`m in the second year of my BTech course in Oska Univ now....which doesnt really mean that I`ve learnt anything in the past 1 year...still feel like it was just y'day that I set foot on the Land of the Rising Sun....
I really think this whole swine flu incident is being blown out of proportion in Japan...schools/univs are closed down this week to prevent the spread of the infection among a clique called youngsters who are apparently the most susceptible...prevention of the eruption of a pandemic...thats what she said......
anyways, what I wanna write about today is something different(I know I always slip out of track!!but what can I do...its in my genes!!)
I was invited to a meeting with the shachou(CEO) of a medium-sized IT consultation firm by a very naive n ambitious Jap friend of mine...For starters, I was accidentally called 1 hr earlier than the actual meeting time..n i`d been diligent enuf to reach there before time!!
then i meet this chubby, not-so-handsome nerdy masuda shachou who lacked in personality but made up in the airs he carried...while everybody was praising my japanese, this irritatingly pretentious shachou-of-a-kind was comforting me by saying that i still have scope for improvement...finally, as per my analysis, he was nothing but a terribly thrifty, egocentric dillhole who basically must have been taught how shachous walk, talk n eat since childhood n was just following the preset guidelines forced upon him...no individuality..no compassion...
honestly speaking, I hate ppl like these n I can never work under anyone of this sort...i hope u get my point...

14th of aug...1 day into the 61st independence day of one of the most mysterious countries on planet earth...viz INDIA...i'll talk abt that later though...today..on my confidante's valuable advice, i'll talk abt a "learning" experience of my life!!
there is this japanese friend of mine who's really famous throughout the univ for thinking outta the box(believe me the limit of finding a japanese like him tends to zero!!)...so during the cultural festival that we had..i was expecting something really classy n hatke...n yes..just as usual he definitely didnt let  my expectations down..in the festival, ppl had set up small stalls in which they'd sell some foodstuff which they prepare there...
so this friend of mine actually studies hindi at the univ and so was determined to put up a stall which cd somehow be related to india.unlike his classmates/business adversaries, who were flaunting the festival streets with indian curry stalls, my friend chose to think differently....he opened up an imitation of the indian version of mc donalds..coz the characteristically indian menu of the indian version of mc d's was a feature genuine enuf to guarantee a swarm of customers(most of which were youngsters..another imp pt to be considered when u think abt mc d's)... n just like any fastfood business anywhere on the face of earth, unsurprisingly the whole act tallied up to half the effort n double the profit as compared to his (usual curry stall) competitors!!...n must say..he was outstanding in his advertisement tactics too...all in all..it was a complete learning package in business management....quite impressive,eh??!!
oh yeah...even we were selling indian curry during that festival..but we had an edge over the other curry ppl coz at our place, handsome n hard-working indian lads had padded up to take on the chhole challenge!!unlike those other curry stalls where some ordinary yellow guy was donning the kurta n trying his best at making curry!! me n one of indian friends here...i think we overdid the average achari(for weddings) in those 2 days!!...man,was it tiring!!the other curry stalls were never really ny competiton to us...however, the real competition were selling beside us, in the same tent!!..actually, due to financial restraints, we cdnt rent a whole tent on our own...so our chivalrous chhole had to share space with an army of delicacies from 4 other countries!!..had to do something abt the competition...thats what had gotten into me since days b4 the festival..n finally i came up with an idea the day b4 the festival began...after convincing my indian friend in helping me with the following, we strove hard that day n by God's Grace, YES we reaped ...n reaped hard!!
there is this thing i'd observed in the last 1 yr or so i've been here regarding the jap...they r too much into astrology, horoscope, fortune-telling n other sick stuff like it!!..so decided to strike on this weakness of theirs..i planned to start  selling palmistry n numerology to the blessed jap who wd grab a bite of our curry!! my friend taking care of the palmistry dept n numerology for me!!..of course we were dead blank abt all that stuff!!..thats y we ravaged the internet working hard all night long to master our respective jobs as much as possible!!..we also had to prepare hoardings for the same that night!!...i dont remember winking my eyes that night!!...n then..d-day...it was pure, unexpected fun!!
ppl had really fallen for our cunning trick like hell!! my compatriot was the happiest person though!!..c'mon whats better than touching soft n tender jap hands under the pretext of actually deeply understanding their pressure lines!!
 this way..we cd easily gallop over our same-stall international competiton on both the festival days!!
i think it'll be enuf for today though!!..i can already hear ppl snoring...but dnt worry i'm not talkin abt u..coz i know u've been reading my post diligently!!..m talking abt my dad snoring the typical kokate way right beside me!!

so its the 10th of july today,thursday...sem-end exams seem maliciously close nowadays...but i`m somehow excited inside..not because of the exams though...coz i`m going back to india on the 4th of aug!!やった！！will be arnd 45 days this time...plan to do lots of things...nothing special happening nowadays...but yeah..was really impressed with nadal`s game the other day agianst fedex..will get back to my report thing now..

so today was tuesday...
was late for the calcluls lecture...cld understand something here nd there during the lecture...then there was the small test...it was kinda easy...then having lunch with the normal bunch of guys...but this time they were kind enuf to not infiltrate on some road-side piece which wd stand out in front of the whole univ!!...especially the fact that  i am the only gaijinppoi guy among all of us....c`mon the korean is just another east asian...
then the french class...i dont know...like girls(or ladies) soooo tend to reaveal the darkest of their secrets to me!!..i`m not exaggerating!!...they say I`m a good listener!!...muhuahuahua....
then i had the first course of my dinner with vishal dada n nazim(kyrgz)...then finally i enrolled into tipness today...the formalities took quite some time...but it was worth it...i had almost cast my spell on the pretty receptionist there!!...we did exchange phone numbers et al....
yeah..and then i swam for arnd 1 hr or so....i sooo need to get better at swimming....ready to work harder...
then finally the second course of my dinner with masuda....and then we went for a drink at the cheapest bar nearby...the regular friday one!!
and hola...there she was!!..alice!!...the notorious british blabber-box....but just as i had mentioned...m supposed to be a good listener!!...so had 'fun' with her!!...now gng to sleep at 2 30 am...gotta get up at 7 45 am...this world is so unfair!!..only 5 hrs and 15 mins of sleep !!...
nyways...hope u guys r fine...nd if u r not...well i pray that He loosens the grip arnd u a bit!!..making u feel a bit realxed!!!

ok...well...abt the summit today...
it was organised by students of some doshisha univ...and ppl from various univs like stanford,cambridge,blah blah had taken part...allover it was pretty ok...but the management of the events sucked big time!!...i dont really wanna generalise this to ALL the univs of japan...but...they really do suck at event management and logistics...and then...i was just a visitor...so i cdnt take part actively in the debates,discussions etc....the inevitable job of concealing my jutting opinions was really a pain in the ass...c`mon the guys at the podium were so stupid!!...i had something really far better which cd have given momentum to the already-half-dead debate...those guys were just going on repeating the same contents and just embroidering it with some high-class language skills....
and the chair-person sucked at his summarisation too...
then there were the symposiums..which were kinda interesting...took pictures and all...
but finally,just as they always say...
all`s well that ends well
i dont deny the fact that my participation in the summit was useful........

ok...so...like always...warming my ass to blog after a century.....
i`m studying at osaka univ now..my department is the engineering science department and my major is electronics and material physics...might seem sophisticated and all to u...but actually the only reason why i chose this one was coz the building in which the dept is located is breath-takingly new and beautiful...moreover...the toilets in there r high tech too...they give ur ass temporary relief from the freezing winter cold..and then how can i forget the legendary automatic water jet!!
so...how`s univ life...and what am i upto...3 months since entering this univ,after screwing up my midterms like anything n partying almomst every friday at the cheapest bar close by....i really dont know where i`m going...I`m really jaded with my fuc*** impression as that of a very determined,diligent nd obedient student....i wanna be myself...enuf of all the nanotech n high aspiration crap...(ps:i`ve been listening to NUMB these days a lot!!)...
looking forward to some stupid environment summit which will be held at kyoto t`row...its gonna cost me money n time...nd i know that i`m obviously just gonna sleep thru all the seminars n stuff...but who cares...its all for the higher good...i wanna keep the aforementioned image of mine intact in front of the dept people atleast...
i plan to keep the blessed ones like u who take the pains to read my humdrum stuff updated with recent happenings......till then...

hi everybody....so finally...after some centuries of silence....i`m here again!!!....to disturb each and everyone of u there!!!...to kill all of ur time......ohhh...ok...back to business....
so its already been 6 months since i`ve come to japan....techinically!!!...but seriously....it  seems like i`ve just come y`day....but yeah..my japanese has got better...so cant really say that...!!...but like...there r so many things yet to explore...so much yet to absorbed from the Land of the Rising Sun!!....i know ppl will be shocked...but yeah...yet to go to tokyo too!!!...actually...dont really have time....during this 1 yr course...but of course...once i enter my university to  start studying engg...then those 4 yrs will be much better...atleast thats what everybody thinks out here!!!
btw....I`M REALLY HAPPY!!!!!.....coz i`ve bought my airplane tickets for india....19th december is the day...osaka-seoul-mumbai...korean airlines...and have to come back by the 6th of jan...i know...its kinda short....but...no way out!!!!...rest all is fine...preparing for the MOST important december exams now...the parties have stopped too...everybody`s studying....hope all of u r fine too...the weather...ok...its getting colder day by day....and according to my teachears, the winter over here in osaka is freaking cold!!!!....(scared)!!!!!but yeah...finally i`ll be able to touch.sense and play with snow....really looking forward to that experience!!!

because there is a part in the song....when that yeda singer keeps repeating   SHAKE IT  some 500 times or so....and if u r as unlucky as me...then u get this part of the song when u r in that elevator..........................................
then u just dont have the courage to see if the teachers r paying attention or not.............and even if u try to switch   that  machine off.....by the time u get to it...u`ve already reached ur destination.....
really embarassing........as if u were caught stealing underpants..................
and then comes the worst part.........when in between....the yeda shouts the following like a monster.....Shake it like a " p*@x*%#  teacher"..............................................................................................................................................................................
